Kavita Malhotra, OD, FCOVD & Jules Petteruto BA, COVT

Kavita Malhotra, OD, FCOVD, of Vienna Virginia and Jules Petteruto, BA, COVT, from Pasadena, California, found their joint love for vision therapy and rehab when they met during the Tuesday Think Tank; a weekly Zoom meeting to discuss vision therapy. A dream of exploring Executive Function (EF) skills through the optometric lens was realized when they were able to present at the College of Optometrists in Vision Development (COVD) annual meeting in 2022 in Columbus Ohio. During that 3 hour presentation they were able to:

-Define Executive Functioning Skills

-Demonstrate how to develop EF skills during in-office and virtual vision therapy/rehab sessions

This year, the Southern California Regional Vision Therapist Forum invite this dynamic duo to San Diego, California to expand on Executive Function and conduct a workshop where attendees will be able to immediately put into place the skills and procedures learned.
